Mountain House, CA - The French Camp McKinley/Mountain House Fire District crew brought the newest addition to the Mountain House fleet to the December 13, 2017 Community Services District Board Meeting. Chief Fred Manding addressed the board before everyone gathered around the impressive new apparatus outside.
The Chief addressed the extreme fire season at hand, confirming that the French Camp/MH Department has fire fighters on the front lines in Southern California, just as they did on the Wine Country fires.
“In my 42 years (of service), I’ve never seen a fire season like this before,” he said.
The Fire Department crew on-hand were all excited about the new vehicle. Captain Ryan Rose, who flew to South Dakota to inspect the new engine and take delivery, drove it home. "That was part of the overall acceptance of the apparatus," he told MH Matters.
