Montain House, CA - The second annual official Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony was held at Central Park on the evening of Saturday, December 2, 2017.

Hosted by the Community Services District staff, the event included a wide array of features for residents to enjoy. Music, games, food vendors, and even Santa Claus were all on-hand to help celebrate the season.

Following an initial push last year by the Mountain House Kindness Club to begin the process of adorning the town with holiday lights, the tree was planted at the start of what will become the downtown, or "town center" area.

Ultimate plans include adding lights along Central Parkway and at one or more entrances to town. Those will come in time, one source stated.

For now, having a community tree all lit up brings smiles to many faces.
